Museo de la Aviacion Naval

Last night we met Roldi in a bar and this morning he took us to the Naval Aviation museum in Bahia Blanca (this is a big Navy town) it was closed but as Roldi´s father flew for the Argentine navy (there is a street named after him here) they opened up especially for us. A real privilage and honour. Amazing place to visit. The white helmet and union jack were taken from Port Stanley and remain in the museum (Titlow wanted to steal them and return them to the Queen) really amazed by the bravery and heroism of the Argentine pilots (those that survived are national heroes now and many of them live here in Bahia Blanca) The kill markings are from the side of a Super Etende Dart that fired the exocets that sank HMS Sheffield and the Atlantic Conveyor.
