London Falling

Just drove back to town from East Yorks in a furious, bibical, tsunami-like rain. Took the A1 which proved to be the right choice and got to London in a couple of hours then listened to The Knife while driving across town: An amazingly creepy record. It's a great relief that Taz is sorted and happy up there for a couple of weeks, my dad really loves him. At Davids now for a while, I really couldn't ask for a better friend at the moment. Alonso is the world champion but Schumacher drove like a real hero at Interlagos tonight. His performance in Brazil kept me on the edge of my seat all the way down: he drove with fury but also discipline and went for it but was totally in the zone. He should feel very proud now. He will be missed. It's funny how motor racing is more exciting on the radio.
